- I seriously fucked up my left foot this weekend wearing my old Doc Martens over the weekend. It was so sore it felt like I sprained my ankle. I saw the nurse practitioner at work who confirmed that there was no permanent damage, but still, these last couple of days have been painful. Lots of resting, watching TV, ice, and lovely foot massages though, so it's not ALL bad.

- Today was the first day I've driven to work all week, since my lovely family and boyfriend have been giving me rides all week. I was not looking forward to the long walk to and from my car in the massive parking lot. So anyways, my engine decides to give me trouble on my commute this morning by hiccupping whenever I'm idling. Great. Thankfully, I get to work without breaking down, and I was able to get an appointment at the dealership for tomorrow. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the repair is covered by my warranty!

- Lately I've been obsessed by all things peppermint. My new favorite body wash, all the tea and supplement pills I took last week during a stomach bug, and even the $0.94 ChapStick I picked up at Target last night are all peppermint. Yum. It makes me excited for winter and the holidays.

- Speaking of winter, I can't wait for it to snow. It doesn't help that it's 70 degrees out today.

- Dave and I booked a long weekend at a swanky hotel in Boston in a few weeks. I'm really excited, especially since we got our MM discount on such a nice hotel. I can't wait to go to the MFA and do some Christmas shopping, not too mention getting away for a few days.

I can’t believe it’s been almost a month since I went to Florida, but here’s the update I’ve been working on since I got back. I think I’m going to start posting the pictures to carolynell. I tried this with my last trip to Florida last summer and I didn’t get too far but I’ll try. Friend me if you want happy pictures on your LJ Friends page everyday!
